[언어교육원] 2026 LEC Video Contest

The goals of the 2026 LEC video contest are to demonstrate effective scientific communication skills in English, to make expert knowledge accessible to a general audience, to practice addressing misinformation in society by verbally citing evidence-based research, and to have fun!
In this video contest, student pairs will act out a scene in which a common scientific myth is presented and then debunked with empirical evidence. Story elements should be used to make the role-play more fun and engaging.
Students will submit two files:
1. Video
- In English
- Include at least two verbal citations
- 3 to 5 minutes (.MP4 or .MOV video file)
- 720p or higher (smaller than 1GB) without any editing
- Name the file with your student number: 2XXX1234.MP4/.MOV
- Submit your video by May
- Winning videos will be featured on the LEC YouTube page
2. Reference List
- Provide a document listing two or more references to support your myth-busting claims (format of your choice, e.g., IEEE, APA). Include your names and a title.
Prizes (in coupons)
- 1st: 50,000 won each
- 2nd: 30,000 won each
- 3rd: 20,000 won each
