PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP HANA & Analytics organization is a global organization dedicated on delivering database & analytics technology and solutions such as SAP HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud that addresses customers' unique and competitive business requirements.

In SAP HANA Database & Analytics Cross-Engineering organization, we are working on ensuring the entire software development cycle including development process and build & test infrastructure for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of software products developed by global development teams in SAP HANA Database & Analytics.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Student Intern, you will be working in the global HANA & HANA Cloud Quality Engineering team together with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues

 

Your tasks will include one of the followings - development of web application service for internal users, back-end service development for process automation, intelligent service development with machine learning, analytical service development for reporting, operational tasks in quality engineering department.

 

The focus of the development will mainly be related with software engineering for the most advanced Cloud CI/CD process in the software industry.

 

We are looking for students who are committed to a technology career path. Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter and tabular CV, copies of the obtained degrees and references (if available).

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

We require that you meet the core competencies and skills listed below.

 

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related fields or related technical disciplines (Bachelor: 3rd grade or more, Master: 2nd semester or more)

• Can complete 6 months full time internship (partial part time is negotiable)
• An open minded, problem-solving attitude and positive spirit even under challenging conditions
• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript
• Intermediate communication skills in English

 

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge in Information Retrieval and Machine Learning
• Experience with React or Vue.js
• Experience in Database application development
