■ Hiring Process

■ Conditions of Employment
◦ Position: English Instructor (Term-based full-time employee)
◦ Period of First Employment: July 25th, 2022 (tentative) to 31st Dec, 2022 - E2 visa sponsorship available
* GIST employment contract is renewed by each year at the end of the fiscal year
◦ Work Description: Teach a combination of English classes and English Clinic sessions totaling 24 class hours per year
· One hour of one-on-one English Clinic sessions is equivalent to half a class hour
· Extra-curricular activities (i.e. workshops, clubs, contests) per semester on select English related topics/skills
· GIST freshman camp
· Duties and responsibilities related to teaching courses such as lesson planning, evaluating and recording students’ performance, and maintaining regular office hours
◦ Salary: 3,205,000 KRW per month, annual allowance, welfare allowance
◦ Benefits: on-campus housing (depending on availability), private office
■ It is possible to file an objection against the hiring result and request the return of documents.
◦ Objection application
