![[2026-Winter] Distinguished Lecture Department of Semiconductor Engineering Innovating Semiconductors for Next-Generation Nanoelectronics and Al Prof. Healin Im Department of Applied Physics Kyung Hee university, Republic of Korea 2월 11일 (수) 15:00-16:00 @ 대학 C동 109호 (Korean) Abstract The integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials into silicon-based industrial processes is crucial for advancing next-generation nanoelectronics, particularly in enhancing device density and performance. However, key challenges remain in achieving scalable synthesis methods that meet industry requirements. Critical factors such as low-temperature synthesis, single-crystal growth, and the compatibility of 2D materials with existing semiconductor processes-including metal contacts and dielectric interfaces-must be carefully addressed. This study explores innovative synthesis strategies to overcome these limitations, focusing on low-temperature chemical routes and selective growth techniques. By optimizing these parameters, we aim to facilitate the seamless integration of 2D materials into high-density device architectures, paving the way for their practical application in CMOS-compatible 3D nanodevices.
