[Symposium] 6th WCU International Symposium on Nanomaterials and Electronics(WCU-06) and Inauguration Symposium of the Gruenberg Center for Magnetic Nanomaterials(GCMN)

광주과학기술원 나노바이오재료전자공학과는 교육과학기술부의 세계 수준의 연구중심대학(WCU) 육성 프로그램의 일환으로 출범한 학과입니다.
매년 독자적으로 국제 심포지움을 개최한 바, 올해는WCU 소속 해외학자 피터 그륀버그교수의 그륀베르크자성나노소재센터 개소를 축하하며 공동으로 개최하게 되었습니다.
금번 제6회 WCU 나노바이오재료전자공학과와 그륀베르크자성나노소재센터 공동심포지움은 나노바이오재료전자공학과의 성공적인 연구 결과와 계속될 발전을 축하하고 새롭게 개소하는 그륀베르크자성나노소재센터의 비전과 발전을 기원하는 자리입니다. 많이 참석하시어 자리를 빛내주시기 바랍니다.
The Department of Nanobiomaterials and Electronics (DNE) is part of the World-Class University (WCU) program of the National Research Foundation (NRF) in Korea. The DNE-WCU has been holding an annual international symposium, but this year it’s happy to hold the joint international symposium in commemoration with the newly established Grünberg Center for Magnetic Nanomaterials (GCMN). The GCMN director is an international professor in the WCU, and it’s our pleasure to hold the 6thjoint symposium together.
The joint symposium is to be held to celebrate the successful development of integrated research in the WCU-DNE and to lay the cornerstone for the Center. As such, this will be a good opportunity for the GCMN to play an important role in this fast-growing research field.
We are honored to invite you to share the success of the WCU-DNE and the new vision of the GCMN.
