2026년 파워플랜트(2구역) 전기설비 안전진단 정전안내

2026년 파워플랜트(2구역) 전기설비 안전진단을 아래와 같이 실시할 예정이오니 해당부서에서는 정전으로 인한 피해가 발생하지 않도록, 사전에 실험기기 전원차단 등 적절한 조치를 취하여 주시기 바랍니다. 임시발전기의 불안정한 전원 품질저하로 발생할 수 있는 피해를 최소화하기 위해 임시발전기 운전시간 및 한전의 정전시간을 최대한 단축하여 진행 합니다.

- 아 래 -

 

가. 정전사유: 파워플랜트(2구역) 고압변전실 및 각 동 전기시설물의 법정 안전점검

- 회로별 누전, 접지 저항점검, 기타 이상 여부점검

나. 정전일시: 2026.4.4.(토) 09:00~15:00(6시간)

- 일괄(2구역) 정전시간: 정전 09:00, 복전:10:15

- 복전 후 전 건물 전력공급이 재개되며 각 건물 층별 EPS실, 실험실 등 부하설비 점검을 (~15:00)까지 진행 할 예정입니다.

실별 방문 점검은 약 최대 5분 이내이며 진행 상황에 따라 종료 시점이 단축될 수 있습니다. (점검이 완료된 실험실은 추가정전 없음)

다. 정전건물: 학사파워플랜트, 지스트대학 A/B/C동, 신재생에너지연구동, 중앙기기연구소, 제2학생회관, 다산빌딩, 대학기숙사A/B동, 산학협력연구관, 교수아파트A/B/C동, 후문경비실, 자연과학동, 영사이언티스트빌딩 A/B/C동, 풋살장 등 대학 측 야외운동시설

라. 임시전원: 임시발전기 사용(보안설비 및 일부 실험장비)

마. 협조사항

1) UPS는 축전지가 완전히 방전되지 않도록 전원 OFF 조치

2) 정전 30분 전 PC/서버장비/실험장비의 전원을 OFF 조치하고, 점검이 끝난 15:00 이후부터는 정상적인 전기 사용 가능

(점검이 완료된 실험실은 추가정전 없음)

3) 냉장고, 냉동고 등 온도유지에 필요한 장비는 미리 최대로 온도를 낮추거나 저온 유지

(필요시 드라이아이스, 아이스팩 등을 넣어 온도 변화를 최소화할 수 있도록 협조)

4) 정전 10분 전부터 승강기 탑승 금지(E/V 운행 정지됨)

2026 Power Plant (Zone 2) Electrical Facilities Safety Diagnosis Power Outage Notice

The 2026 electrical facilities safety diagnosis at the Power Plant (Zone 2) will be conducted as follows. Relevant departments are requested to take appropriate advance measures, such as shutting off power to electrical equipment, to prevent damage from the power outage. To minimize potential damage from unstable power quality of the temporary generator, we will shorten the temporary generator operation time and KEPCO outage duration as much as possible.

Details

A. Reason for Power Outage
- Legal safety inspection of the high-voltage substation in the Power Plant (Zone 2) and electrical facilities in each building

- Inspection of leakage current by circuit, grounding resistance, and other abnormalities

B. Outage Date/Time

Date: April 4, 2026 (Sat), 09:00–15:00 (6 hours)

Total (Zone 2) outage period: Power Off: 09:00 ~ Power Restoration: 10:15

After power restoration, electricity supply to all buildings will resume. Inspections of load equipment in each building (including EPS rooms and laboratories) will continue until approximately 15:00.

Each room inspection will take no more than about 5 minutes, and the completion time may be shortened depending on progress. (Laboratories that have completed inspection will not experience additional outages.)

C. Affected Buildings

E13 - Power Plant Building, N4,N5,N6 - GIST College Buildings A/B/C, C10 - Renewable Energy Research Bldg.(RISE),C11 - Central Research Facilities, E9 - Student Union Building 2, C9 - Dasan Building, E11/E12 - GIST College Dormitory A/B, E3 - Research Institute of University Industry Cooperation, N3 - Faculty Apartments A/B/C, Rear Gate Security Office, E8 - Natural Science Building , Young Scientist Building A/B/C.

D. Temporary Power Supply

Temporary generators will be used (for security systems and selected electrical equipment)

E. Cooperation Required

1) Turn off UPS systems to prevent complete battery discharge.

2) Turn off PCs, servers, and electrical equipment at least 30 minutes prior to the outage.

3) Normal use of electricity will be available after 15:00 upon completion of inspections.

(Laboratories that have completed inspection will not experience additional outages.)

3) For refrigerators, freezers, and other temperature-sensitive equipment, set to the lowest possible temperature in advance or maintain low temperature. (If necessary, use dry ice or ice packs to minimize temperature fluctuations.)

4) Do not use elevators starting 10 minutes before the outage (elevators will be out of service).
