2026년 파워플랜트(2구역)전기설비 안전진단 정전안내
2026년 파워플랜트(2구역) 전기설비 안전진단을 아래와 같이 실시할 예정이오니 해당부서에서는 정전으로 인한 피해가 발생하지 않도록, 사전에 실험기기 전원차단 등 적절한 조치를 취하여 주시기 바랍니다. 임시발전기의 불안정한 전원 품질저하로 발생할 수 있는 피해를 최소화하기 위해 임시발전기 운전시간 및 한전의 정전시간을 최대한 단축하여 진행 합니다.

가. 정전사유 : 파워플랜트(2구역) 변전실, EPS실, 실험실분전반등 전기시설물 안전진단
나. 정전일시 : 2026. 4. 4(토) (09:00~15:00) 6시간
* 건물별 임시발전기 운전계획.
- 신재생에너지연 :08:10~11:00
- 중앙연구기기동, 대학C동 :08:10~11:00
- 다산빌딩, 파워플랜트 :08:10~11:00
※ 08시10분 부터 순차적으로 임시발전기를 운전을 시작하며 임시전원 연결과정 중 일시 정전이 있을 수 있습니다. 09시00분 (2 구역) 파워플랜트 전체 전원 일괄 OFF(임시발전기 연결 제외)됩니다.
다. 정전건물 : 지스트대학 A·B·C동, 신재생에너지연구동, 제2학생회관, 다산빌딩, 중앙기기연구소, 대학기숙사A·B동, 산학협력연구관, 교수아파트A·B·C동, 학사파워플랜트, 후문경비실, 자연과학동, 영사이언티스트빌딩, 풋살경기장 등 대학측 야외운동시설

마. 협조사항
1) 정전당일 임시전원을 요청한 실험실에서는 대상장비의 임시전원 플러그 연결 및 정전작업 완료 시 원 위치로 복구를 위한 관리자를 지정, 대응하여 주시기 바랍니다.
2) UPS를 사용하는 실험실에서는 축전지가 방전되지 않도록 UPS전원 사전 OFF조치
3) 정전 시작 30분 전 실험장비, 서버, 컴퓨터, 에어컨 등 전기기기 전원 OFF 조치
4) 정전 시작 10분 전부터 승강기 탑승 금지

2026 Power Plant (Zone 2) Electrical Facilities Safety Diagnosis Power Outage Notice
The 2026 electrical facilities safety diagnosis at the Power Plant (Zone 2) will be conducted as follows. Relevant departments are requested to take appropriate advance measures, such as shutting off power to experimental equipment, to prevent damage from the power outage. To minimize potential damage from unstable power quality of the temporary generator, we will shorten the temporary generator operation time and KEPCO outage duration as much as possible.

a. Reason for Outage: Safety diagnosis of electrical facilities including the substation room, EPS room, and laboratory distribution panels at the Power Plant (Zone 2)
b. Outage Date/Time: April 4, 2026 (Sat) 09:00~15:00 (6 hours)
- Temporary generator operation schedule by building:
- Renewable Energy Research Building: 08:10~11:00
- Central Research Facilities Building, Gist College Building C: 08:10~11:00
c. Affected Buildings: GIST College Buildings A·B·C, Renewable Energy Research Building, 2nd Student Union, Dasan Building, Central Equipment Research Facilities, GIST College Dormitory A·B, Research Institute of University Industry Cooperation, Faculty Apartment A·B·C, Power Plant Building, Rear Gate Security Office, Natural Science Building, Young Scientist Building, Futsal Field, and other university outdoor sports facilities
d. Inspection Agency: Korea Electrical Safety Corporation (KESCO)
e. Cooperation Requested:
1. Labs requesting temporary power must designate a manager to connect temporary power plugs to target equipment and restore to original positions after outage completion.
2. UPS-using labs must turn OFF UPS power in advance to prevent battery discharge.
3. 30 minutes before outage: Turn OFF experimental equipment, servers, computers, air conditioners, etc.
4. 10 minutes before outage: Prohibit elevator use.
