2025학년도 학위수여식 개최에 따라 다음과 같이 안내드립니다.

[행사개요]

1. 일시: 2026년 2월 20일(금) 14:00 - 15:40 (예정)

2. 장소: 광주과학기술원 오룡관 대강당

3. 대상: 학위수여대상자, 교직원, 학위수여자 가족 등 약 500여명

   (학위수여대상자: 박사 70명, 석사 130명, 학사 108명, 총 308명)

[학위복 대여 및 반납]

1. 일시

  - 1차: 2026. 2. 19.(목) 10:00 - 17:00 (오룡관 206호)

  - 2차: 2026. 2. 20.(금) 10:00 - 17:00 (오룡관 206호)

* 대리수령 불가. 본인만 대여 가능. (문의: 학생팀 담당자 3607)

* 지정된 시간 이외에는 대여가 어려우니 시간을 엄수하여 주시기 바랍니다.

* 학위복을 반납하지 않을 경우, 증명서 발급 제한 등 불이익이 있을 수 있으니, 반드시 지정된 시간과 장소에 반납하여 주시기 바랍니다.

[학위수여 안내]

1. 학위수여대상자는 2026. 2. 20.(금) 13:30 까지 1층 출입구로 입장

* 반드시 좌석표를 확인하시어 본인 좌석에 착석바랍니다. 

* 지정좌석제로 진행하오니, 사전에 참석여부 조사 설문을 제출해 주시기 바랍니다. (2월 2일 월요일까지)

2. 학위수여 방법 (박사 → 석사 → 학사)

* 박사: 학위수여 순서대로 단상 우측 계단 아래에서 대기 (2명씩 수여)

   → 사회자가 호명하면, 단상 위로 올라가 총장, 교학부총장 앞에 대기

   → 총장, 교학부총장께서 학위기를 수여하고 악수를 나눔

   → 단상 반대편으로 이동하면서 교원들과 악수를 나눔

   → 스태프의 안내에 따라 본인의 좌석으로 돌아가 착석

* 석사 및 학사: 학위수여 순서대로 단상 우측 계단 아래에서 대기 (4명씩 수여)

   → 사회자가 호명하면, 단상 위로 올라가 총장, 교학부총장, 연구부총장, 대외부총장 앞에 대기

   → 총장, 교학부총장, 연구부총장, 대외부총장께서 학위모의 술을 이동(우측에서 좌측)하고 악수를 나눔

   → 단상 반대편으로 이동하면서 교원들과 악수를 나눔 

   → 스태프의 안내에 따라 본인의 좌석으로 돌아가 착석

3. 학위기 수령 방법

  - 박사는 학위수여식에서 수령 (2. 20. (금) 오룡관 대강당)

  - 석사 및 학사는 소속 학과 사무실에서 수령 (2. 19. (목) 오후부터)

  - 불참자의 경우, 학위수여식이 종료된 이후 소속 학과 사무실에서 별도 수령

  - 학위기의 내용이 틀린 경우 학생팀 담당자에게 문의 (3607)

4. 기타 안내사항

  - 학위수여식 SNS 생중계 예정 (GIST 유튜브 공식채널 : https://www.youtube.com/@GIST_YOUTUBE)

  - 학위수여대상자를 제외한 가족 및 재학생은 2층 출입구로 입장하여 주시기 바랍니다.

  - 모든 행사가 끝나기 전까지 학위수여대상자는 퇴장이 불가합니다.

  - 안전을 위하여 단상 근처에서의 사진 촬영을 금지합니다. 

  - 졸업증명서 발급: 2026. 2. 19.(목) 오후 3시부터 가능

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

To prepare for a successful event, we would like to inform you as follows.

[Ceremony Overview]

1. Date and Time: 14:00 - 15:40  February 20, 2026. (Fri)

2. Location: Oryong-Hall

3. Attendee: Degree candidates(1st floor), family members(2nd floor), faculty members

   (Degree candidates: Ph.D. 70, MS 130, BS 108)

[Gown for Degree Candidates]

1. Date and Time

  - 1st rental and return: February 19, 2026. (Thu) 10:00-17:00

  - 2nd rental and return: February 20, 2026. (Fri) 10:00-17:00

2. Location: #206 Oryong Hall

* Degree candidates only are eligible to rent. Please make sure to meet the deadline.

[Awarding Degrees: Ph.D → MS → BS]

1. Those who are eligible for a degree should enter the entrance of the 1st floor by 13:30.

* The venue will be set up as a designated seat system for degree recipients.

So please check your email and submit a survey on attendance in advance.

2. How to award degree

* Ph.D.: Wait your turn at the right-hand side of the front stage in order.

   → When your name is called, walk to the front of the stage and wait in front of the President.

   → When your Degree Certificate is awarded, shake hands with the President.

   → Move to the opposite side and shake hands with some professors. 

   → Return to your seat as guided by a staff member. 

  

* MS and BS: Wait your turn at the right-hand side of the front stage in order.

   → When your name is called, walk to the front of the stage and wait in front of the President. 

   → When the President/Vice President for Academic Affairs/Vice President for R&D/Vice President for Public Affairs move your cap tassel(from right to left), shake hands with them.

   → Move to the opposite side and shake hands with some professors.

   → Return to your seat as guided by a staff member.

3. How to receive Diplomas

  - Ph.D.: Awarded at the commencement ceremony (February 20)

  - MS & BS: From the Dept. Office (From the afternoon of February 19)

  - If you can not attend the ceremony, you may pick it up at the Dept. Office after February 20.

  - Issuance of graduation cerificate: After 3p.m. on February 19.
