To strengthen students' global competency through a full regular semester at a world-renowned university,
we are seeking applicants for the 2027 UC Berkeley Study Abroad Program as outlined below.
Interested students are encouraged to apply.
1. Host University: UC Berkeley
2. Program Period: January 12 (Tue), 2027 – May 14 (Fri), 2027 (approx. 18 weeks)
3. Eligibility: Undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year (as of Spring 2027)
4. Number of Selectees: Up to 8 students
5. Selection Schedule: The schedule below is a guideline; final results (pass/fail) will be announced to all applicants by email as soon as they are available.

① One copy of the 2027 Study Abroad Program Application
- Including one Statement of Purpose essay
- Including one English-language personal statement
② One official English transcript
③ One TOEFL iBT score report
④ One Applicant's Pledge (Statement of Commitment)
⑤ Supporting documentation for any awards, volunteer activities, etc. listed in the application (if applicable)

9. Important Notes — ★IMPORTANT★ Please read carefully before submission
- All submitted documents must be in A4-size PDF format only
- Applications with inaccurate or incomplete information will be automatically excluded from consideration without separate notice
- All documents must be submitted as scanned files (photographed copies will not be accepted)
- The English name on all documents must exactly match the applicant's passport
- Transcripts: only official transcripts issued via the on-campus certificate issuing machine or the university portal's student life certificate service will be accepted (ZEUS printouts or screen captures will not be accepted)
- All submitted documents must have any password/security protection removed before submission
- Transcripts and other supporting documents must be valid as of the submission date (documents/grades pending issuance are not valid)
* Frequently Asked Questions
- TOEFL Home Edition scores and My Best Scores are accepted
- Word count requirement: the Statement of Purpose and personal statement should each be 800–1,000 words
- Page 1 of the application form requires Advisor Approval — a faculty advisor's signature or seal is mandatory
