Automated Certificate Issuance Machine

  • Locations: Central Library building (N1), first floor lobby next to the cafeteria; and Administration Building (S2), first floor, next to the inspection room
  • Hours: Available 24 hours a day
  • Fee: 500 KRW per copy
  • Procedure: Input your personal information > Choose the type of certificate > Payment > Print
  • Inquiries: Section of Student Records 062-715-2056

Online Certificate Issuance

  • Go to Internet Certificate Issuance Center.
  • Fee: 1,500 KRW (500 KRW per copy + 1,000 KRW service charge for the Internet Certificate Issuance Center per copy)
  • Procedure: Login > Request > Input personal information > Choose type of certificate > Payment > Print
  • Inquiries: Service Center 1644-2378

Domestic Postal Service

  • Procedure: Make request through the Internet Certificate Issuance Center
    (Postage fee may vary depending on the delivery area)
  • Inquiries: Service Center 1644-2378

International Postal Service

  • Procedure: Send a request via email to certificate@gist.ac.kr
    Case 1. The applicant must send the certificate in person in the GIST envelope provided at the Section of Student Records
    Case 2. Only the certificate requested by the World Education Services (WES) will be sent out by the Section of Student Records after payment of postal service charge and postage fee by the applicant (Postage fee may vary depending on the delivery area)

Certificate of Enrolling Status Certifies that a student is currently enrolled
Certificate of Enrollment Certifies past enrollment history and academic status
Academic Transcript Certifies a student’s official academic grades
Certificate of Graduation Certifies degrees earned
Certificate of
Expected Graduation Date
Certifies that a student is expected to complete academic program requirements by the end of the current semester
  • Eligibility: Those who have confirmed the expected thesis defense date
  • Procedure: Fill out the request form > Obtain a signature from one’s academic advisor > Submit it to the Section of Student Records

* Those who have confirmed their graduation qualification may issue this certification from the Automated Certificate Issuance Machine and Online Certificate Issuance without submitting any application (after mid-January or mid-July)
