• Semester: 1st and 2nd semester, summer or winter courses can be added.
• Number of school days: at least 32 weeks a year

Enrollment and Registration

• Enrollment: February and August (dates to be specified)
• Registration: during specified period after enrollment

Exams and Grades

• Exams: finals at the end of semester, and mid–term or other tests (if necessary)
• Grades
  • Evaluation: professors evaluate based on test, attendance, research reports, learning attitude, etc.
  • Course evaluation criteria
    • Subject course grading system (mandatory or optional): A+, A0, B+, B0, C+, C0, D+, D0, F, I
    • Grading system for research subjects (thesis research, individual research, and seminars) and English: S, U or I
  • Grade and score scale is as follows.

  • Grading
    • "I" is a temporary grade when grading is ongoing.
    • "I" turns to F unless a normal grade is not given within weeks from deadline. Likewise, research subjects that are scored “I” will receive a "U" if the normal grade is not given within the deadline.
    • Courses can be retaken. if the grade is C0 or below and students must pay the tuition. The original grade is indicated as "R", and new grade can't be higher than B+.
  • For credit recognition and degree acquisition, student grades must be A+, A0, B+, B0, C+, C0, D+, D0 or S, and the student’s GPA must be no lower than 3.0/4.5.
  • Students will be placed on academic probation if their grades are lower than 2.5/4.5 of cumulative GPA
    • First probation consequences: limitation on the number of credits taken and extracurricular activities
    • Second probation consequences: disenrollment
