Fusion Technology Institute hosts symposium
with local companies in Gwangju and Jeonnam region
On October 20, 2016, GIST invited local companies for an event from Gwangju and Jeonnam region to strengthen regional cooperation.
The symposium was held with professors from Life Science, Energy Science, Culture Technology, and Medical Science who explained their research to the participants.
Including Innobiz Association president Gi-su Na, about 30 associated company CEOs and about 80 guests from local Gwangju and Jeonnam companies, and GIST students attended the event.
Fusion Technology Institute Director Hor-Gil Hur said, “Through this event, we want to strengthen the ties between GIST and local companies, and we want to create a successful model that continues to develop together. We will hold symposiums every year to show that the doors to GIST are always open.”
