GIST Entrepreneurship Promotion Center creates a
business verification program to support outstanding research
The Entrepreneurship Promotion Center at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST • President Seung Hyeon Moon) hosted a business verification program meeting on October 8, 2016, for students and researchers.
The GIST business verification program is intended to support outstanding research achievements and to help commercialize promising start-up ideas. The program takes advantage of Gwangju"s special research and development zone as well as GIST"s educational infrastructure, which includes various experts in a wide-range of fields, including business and marketing experts.
The program will offer various resources, including personal mentoring as well as legal assistance in formally establishing a company.
Director Seung-Geun Ki of the Entrepreneurship Promotion Center said, "GIST"s Business Verification Program is expected to create an environment in Gwangju"s special research and development zone for the successful technology commercialization of excellent research achievements made at GIST."
