GIST signs MOU with the ICT, Information
and Communication Technology Association of Korea
The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST President • Seung Hyeon Moon) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the ICT, Information and Communication Technology Association of Korea (Director Yangsun Baek) on September 5, 2016, that was attended by twenty officials. Under the MOU, the two institutions plan to cooperate in the following areas: academics, human resources, and facilities.
GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon said, "With the era of the fourth industrial revolution being comprised of technological convergence in the areas of the internet of things (IoT), big data, and artificial intelligence, the ability of our two institutions under this MOU to take advantage of the ICT industrial convergence will be enhanced to benefit business expansion and employment for people."
