Business presentation held at GIST for "Pullppuri" Health Products
A business presentation for "Pullppuri" Health Products was held at GIST"s Oryong Hall on June 14, 2016. The concept behind "Pullppuri" Health Products is to develop and manufacture products for the treatment of pain by using local traditional remedies.
The Industry-Academia Cooperation Agency from Chosun University is also participating in the "Pullppuri" Health Products business. This agency was selected as a finalist last July for at the ‘Pullppuri busniess’ contest held by the Trade, Industry and Energy Ministry. The agency received a grant of 1.7 billion won for 3 years and is also supported by Gwangju Buk-gu office.
During their business presentation, "Pullppuri" Health Products presented their R&D achievements over the last year and displayed an exhibition that showcased their results.
Director Yoo-kang Ji of the Senior Technology Complex Project Center, who is in charge of the business said, “With the achievements and feedbacks obtained from the development of health products, we will further strengthen the future competiveness of our business and the technology behind it”.
Representative Kyung-jin Kim of the People’s Party (Gwangju Buk-gu) attended the event and said, “Business development for pain treatment is a meaningful business because it improves the welfare and development of a senior-friendly industry. We will fully support the success of this project, which also contributes to the growth of local SMEs.”
