Chairman Seung-hwan Kim of the Korea Science and
Engineering Foundation hosts a special lecture at GIST
on the topic of "Science, Creativity, and the Future"
The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) and GIST College invited Chairman Seung-hwan Kim of the Korean Science and Engineering Foundation to host a special lecture for college students on the topics of "Science, Creativity, and the Future."
The special lecture was held on March 3, 2016, at 4:00 pm in Room 104 of College Building C.
Chairman Kim is a professor of physics at POSTECH and has served as President of the Korean Physical Society and as the Chairman of the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation since 2014. Dong-A Ilbo newspaper recently recognized him as one of the top 100 Korean scientists of the year.
The special lecture series is part of an ongoing program started in 2012 to invite experts in various fields to enrich the educational opportunities of GIST College students.
