GIST signs an MOU with Gwangju"s

High-Tech Industrial Complex for mutual cooperation

MOU to support technical development, commercialization, and entrepreneurship

The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) and the Gwangju"s High-Tech Industrial Complex Executive Council signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on December 28, 2015, to help provide developmental support for local industries. The MOS was signed by GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon and the Executive Council President Yeongbeom Lee.

Under this agreement, both institutions agree to share and exchange resources through technical guidance and consulting to promote the development of local industries. Businesses will be supported in their efforts to commercialize intellectual property and to develop superior business models while promoting entrepreneurship.

GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon stated, "We will strive to contribute to regional industrial development through various projects for high-tech related small and medium sized businesses."
