and Communications Committee visits GIST for an on-site audit
The National Assembly’s Future Planning, Science, Broadcasting and Communications Committee members visited GIST and GIST"s President Seung Hyeon Moon (7th from the right) on September 22, 2015.
□ The National Assembly’s Future Planning, Science, Broadcasting and Communications Committee members visited GIST on September 22, 2015, as part of an on-site audit.
□ The National Assembly’s Future Planning, Science, Broadcasting and Communications Committee chairman Moon Jong Hong of the Saenuri Party, assistant administrator of the ruling party Min Shik Park, assistant administrator of the opposition party Sang Ho Woo, member Byung Hwan Jang of Namgu, Gwangju, and 14 other members arrived at Oryong Hall and attended a status report given by GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon and Gwangju Innopolis Director Byung Han Yoon.
□ Following a luncheon, members visited the Advanced Photonics Research Institute (APRI) at GIST, toured the research facilities, and received in-depth reports detailing the facilities" current performance and contributions to the development of optical laser technologies.
□ Members of Future Planning, Science, Broadcasting and Communications Committee also visited the Gwangju Innobiz Center (which is scheduled to open by October) and the National Radio Research Agency and Korea Communications Agency at Naju, Jeollanamdo, and received reports of their current status.
