[Press Release] Prof. Jung’s Team developed GRAPHENE NANORINGS used for future semi-conductor

Developed line width below 15nm GRAPHENE NANORINGS

used for Semi-conductor devices.

- Open up possibility for developing GRAPHENE-based semi-conductor devices”

□ Domestic researchers open up new possibility for developing the next generation of semi-conductor. Researchers made large-area GRAPHENE NANORINGS within line width less than 15nm and they are applied to semi-conductor devices which are a core part of TV, cell phone and computers.

○ The research was taken lead by Prof. Gun-Young, Jung (45), Ph.D. candidate Yoo-Shin, Park (30, 1st author), GIST, and Prof. Soon Ae, Seo, Sejong Univ. participated in this research. This research was performed by WCU Fostering Project, National Core Research Center (NCRC) which carried forward by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (Minister, Joo-Hoe, Lee) and National Research Foundation of Korea (Chairman, Seung-Jong, Lee), and was published online to ‘Advanced Materials’, a prestigious academic journal on Material Science (issued on Oct. 29th).
