Parent’s meeting held in Daejeon and Chungcheong region
GIST invited parents of Daejeon and Chungcheong region students to Daejeon Intercity hotel and held a meeting on October 11, 2016. About 50 guests have participated and the meeting proceeded with current status and future prospects of GIST and question and answer session.
“We held the meeting to actively communicate with parents to embrace various suggestions towards GIST to make our school even better,” said President Seung Hyeon Moon.
One of the guest, Joo-sun Um, said, “It was a great opportunity for us to meet with the school president and staffs to hear about the school’s current status and to gather various information about our children’s career planning.” She also said, “Through this meeting, we are fortunate to know that once again GIST can be trusted and that our children are living a quality student life.”
This was the fourth parent’s meetings held this year after Jeju Island, Seoul, and Incheon. Participants were: President Seung Hyeon Moon, Vice President Phil-hwan Park, College Dean Do-Kyeon Ko, and Dean of International and Public Affairs Byoung Hun Lee.
Gwangju · Jeonnam region, Daegu · Geongbuk region and Busan · Geongnam region are planned to have the meeting next year.
