GIST is ranked 6th in Korea by THE’s The Asia University Ranking

According to THE (Times Higher Education) from England, GIST is ranked 6th in Korea and 32 in Asia.

Since GIST College first graduated students in 2014 with bachelor"s degrees, THE has recognized GIST as a full-time university. So this year was the first time that GIST was included in the THE rankings.

GIST was ranked 4tn in Korea and 20th in Asia for the research results division, which counted for 30% of the overall score. Thus, GIST has proved that it has excellent research capacity.

THE’s rankings are a combination of scores. Every year, THE announces rankings after comprehensive evaluation of 13 categories in five areas: education environment (25%), research performance (30%), citations per publication (30%), international level (7.5%), and industry research revenue (7.5%).
