	A former Minister of Science and Technology, Sang Hee Lee, gave a lecture at GIST A former minister of science and technology, Sang Hee Lee, gave a lecture at GIST on September 10, 2015, entitled ‘The National Survival Strategy of the Knowledge Economy.’ The lecture was part of a major seminar class held by GIST College, and the former minister presented a blueprint for Korea"s future as well as survival strategies. Sand Hee Lee is also a former member of parliament and is currently a director at the ‘Green Life of Knowledge Economic Research Institute.’ He has been involved in various activities to raise awareness of the importance of scientific and technological research, the commercialization of technology, and the development of intellectual property. Since 2012, GIST College has been inviting individual experts in various field to provide guest lectures that promote convergence education.
