"Dreams of Two Wheels" Bicycle campaign ceremony held
GIST held a ceremony to deliver bicycles to new students. It has been one year since the start of GIST"s campaign called "Dreams of Two Wheels" to raise funds to buy new bicycles for students. With the money raised, GIST was able to buy 100 new bicycles.
GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon, Dean Jang Soo Jeon, and Dean Byoung Hun Lee joined with 30 students for the ceremony that was held in front of the Main Administration Building"s fountain. Financial supporters of the "Dreams of Two Wheels" campaign also attended the ceremony. Among them were the parents of Kwang Hoon Cho, Tae Hyun representative Hyung Rae Cho (GTMBA alumni), Samwhan Trading Co. representative Young Kwan Cho (GTMBA alumni), Golden Chair representative Han Jin Joo, and Dean Jang Soo Jeon. The GIST Public Affairs team is planning to purchase more bicycles early next year and will deliver them to new students.
GIST has been promoting the bicycle donation campaign "Dreams of Two Wheels" since last September. A total of 82 million won has been donated from 57 donors who include students, parents, staff, alumni, and the general public. The campaign will continue until their goal of raising 300 million won is achieved.
