GIST was ranked 1st among Korean universities in the nation and 3rd in Asia in the category of ‘Papers per Faculty’ according to the Chosun-ilbo and QS Asian University Rankings. (QS: Quacquarelli Symonds)
‘Papers per faculty’ is an evaluation index that shows how much active research is performed by professors.
‘Chosun-ilbo and QS Asian University Rankings’ have been conducting university assessment for higher education in Asia for 7 consecutive years since 2009. This year, they have evaluated 4 areas and 9 categories for 507 universities from 17 countries, including Korea, China, Japan, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
