President Moon Seunghyeon of GIST paid a visit on April 8 to the Agency for Defense Development (ADD), the leading state-run establishment in armament-related R&D in Korea.

President Chung Hong-yong of ADD met with President Moon and discussed ways to promote cooperative relationships between the two institutions. President Chung said he would reciprocate a visit to GIST soon in order to further exchange more developed ideas on joint R&D projects.

President Moon also had a meeting with the GIST alumni at ADD. Currently, a total of 41 researchers who have received their master’s or doctorate degrees from GIST are working at ADD.
