GIST College and Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS) co-hosted “Dream Lectures: Follow Your Own Dream” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, in Oryong Hall in GIST.

The Dream Lectures are a community outreach program for teens where academics who received scholarships from KFAS as students appear as speakers. For the Dream Lectures held in GIST, Prof. Dae-il Kim of Seoul National University (Dept. of Economics) and Prof. Soon-Keon Nam of Kyung Hee University (Dept. of Physics) gave lectures titled “Economics and Populism” and “The Recipe for Cooking the Universe,” respectively.

GIST College pursues a liberal arts education system to cultivate promising young minds in science and technology, featuring a low student-to-faculty ratio of 10:1 and a residential college system for all students.
