3rd GIST Tsinghua-SEM Techno CEO Program holds completion ceremony

 

 

 

 

 

□ GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, President ž Young Joon Kim) Techno MBA held ‘3rd GIST Tsinghua-SEM Techno CEO Program’ completion ceremony at Oryong Hall at 18:00, Oct. 15th.

 

□ 22 students including Head of Gwangju Regional Procurement Service Kwon Suhyuk, Chairman of Jeonnam Cultural Industry Promotion Agency Kim Youngju, Head of Cheonnam Regional HQ of Korea Rural Community Corporation Kim Haengyoon, other high-ranking officials from the central government, entrepreneurs in various industries and medical practitioners. 

 

□ Choi Eun Mo (Mujin Service Co. CEO) won GIST Techno MBA Award, Kim Young Ju (Chairman of Jeonnam Cultural Industry Promotion Agency) won Best Thesis Award and Professor Cho Kyu Jong (Chonnam National University) won Outstanding Thesis Award. Eight students including Kwon Su Hyuk (Head of Gwangju Regional Procurement Service), and Kim Haeng Yoon (Head of Cheonnam Regional HQ of Korea Rural Community Corporation) won Distinguished Award and 11 students including Lim Nae Hyun (Congressman) and Kim Myung Jong (President of Gwangju City Hospital) won Achievement Award.

 

□ Dean of GIST Techno MBA, Yang Bong Ryul expressed his gratitude to all the faculty for their passion and commitment and asked all students to give their full support to take GIST to a higher level as alumni at the completion ceremony.

 

□ The 3rd GIST Tsinghua-SEM Techno CEO Program is a 20-week program that kicked off on Apr. 2nd with the goal to offer top executives from all walks of life an opportunity to rebuild their business knowledge and bolster creative leadership skills.

 

□ It offered a wide array of training programs that include future forecast, leadership in the global age, China’s strategy to build the Great Cultural China, business approach to optical communication technologies and globalization of the Yuan and its impact. Extracurricular programs included a special lecture by one of the most prominent speakers in Korea, a workshop in Jeju Island, industrial tours and trainings at Tsinghua University.

 

□ GSIT Techno MBA will invite participants to the 4th GIST Tsinghua-SEM Techno CEO Program, which will start from March 2014.
