¬TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) is a global set of conferences owned by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation. The speakers at TED address a wide range of topics within the research and practice of science and culture and they are given several minutes to present their ideas in the most innovative and engaging ways they can, instead of showing presentation sheets on a big screen and reading them. Therefore, a TED-style lecture is a synonym for a creative and imaginative storytelling and presentation.
