Department of Medical System Engineering (Dean, Lee Jong Hyun) of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST President, Young Joon Kim) signed an MOU with Osong Medical Innovation Foundation’s High-tech Medical Apparatus Development Support Center (Center chief, Seon-Il Kim; hereinafter referring to as ‘High-tech Medical Equipment Development Support Center’) for promotion and development of medical equipment industry in GIST Dasan Building on 13^th, December.

    These two organizations plan to establish a systematic cooperative structure based on this MoU, and to promote joint projects necessary for △ establishment of cooperative network in medical equipment areas △ cooperation for research & development of medical equipment, support for commercialization, and utilization of research equipment and facilities △ co-hosting of international conferences, seminars, and symposium △ academic contests, technology development, quality improvement and clinical tests for promotion & development of other medical equipment manufacturing companies.
