A joint research paper by Professor Yoon Myung-Han(age 39) and a doctoral student Park Sung-Jun(age 25) of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST‧President, Kim Young-Joon) appeared in the world’s renowned science journal, Nature (Title: Flexible Metal-Oxide Devices made by Room-temperature Photochemical Activation of Sol-Gel films‧Published on September 6, 2012)

     The research identified a technology that can be applied not only on semiconductors but also on most of materials such as ceramic · semiconductor · insulator · conductor that are essential for electrical & electronic and medial industry, and as such, is expected to generate great ripple effects. Related applied research is actively underway. Moreover, this research achievement is more meaningful as it is a joint research by Korean researchers of various fields such as electrical & electronic, materials and chemical sciences.
