GIST Bio Imaging Research Center, Held Presentation on Early Detection of Dementia

- Success in managing brain health synthetically in cooperation with Nam-gu administrative office.

 

 

It is known that one of the representative research institutes of the region, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President Jung-Ho, SONU), and Nam-gu administrative office which focuses on welfare of the elderly made a great achievement related to early detection of dementia project that started from early this year. This success grabs attention from the local community.

Bio Imaging Research Center of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(director Woo Keun, Song, Professor of School of Life Sciences) and Nam-gu administrative office of Gwangju City(Head, Young Ho, Choi) announced that they held a presentation on the project at the conference room on the 2^nd floor of Nam-gu administrative office building on Dec. 13 at 2pm. The project has been actively pursued after cooperative agreement was signed in early this year. The two organizations announced this year"s achievement and next year"s plan regarding the early detection of dementia project.
