GIST-DGIST, Signing an Agreement on Academic and Administrative Exchanges

 

 

Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President Jung-Ho, SONU) and Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology(DGIST, President Sung-Chul Shin) signed an agreement for academical and administrative exchanges to nurture talented people in science and technology field who will lead the innovation of science and technology. The signing ceremony on Nov. 24(Thur.) at 3:30 pm in a meeting room of GIST administrative building, President Jung-Ho, SONU and President Sung-Chul Shin participated to sign an agreement. About 20 people including major executives of GIST and DGIST participated in the ceremony.

With this agreement the two parties establish a close cooperative network regarding matters like people-to-people exchange of professors and researchers, planning of joint project and executing a joint research and development, student exchange and mutual recognition of credit, exchange of information and academic data regarding curriculum and educational contents, joint utilization of facilities and equipment.
