GIST, Signing MOU with Biz-Doctors Center

GIST Technology Institute of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) announced on Aug. 8 that it signed MOU with Biz-Doctors Center (center leader: Kim Young-Jib) for technical and management support and cooperation to find and nurture promising small- and medium-sized companies that may lead our future of the photonics industry in Gwangju.

Park Seong-Ju, GIST Technology Institute, said “I think building the cooperation system between the two organizations for simultaneous technical, management, and financial cooperation and support will be an important opportunity to convert the existing support policy, which is usually led by individual support organization, to integrated one-stop support policy that directly gives help to small- and medium-sized firms.” Continuously, he stated “It is expected that this will contribute nurturing and developing promising companies in the photonics industry of Gwangju.”
