GIST, Dreaming of Becoming Korea’s Caltech

The GIST undergraduate program, which was initiated this year, is attracting attention from the media. With 100 freshmen, the GIST undergraduate program is based on small-size classes and education where humanities, social studies and art come together to nurture well-balanced scientists.

The GIST undergraduate program proposes a new model in domestic science and engineering education. Its curriculum was established based on cooperation with California Institute of Technology (Caltech), a prestigious university in science and engineering in the U.S., and the school offers great assistance to all undergraduate students, such as free tuition and dormitories.

Meanwhile, GIST is holding Enrollment Seminars for freshmen for the 2011 school year in the seven administrative regions nationwide from (May) 19. <Go to Enrollment Seminar>

An article on the undergraduate program of GIST, which dreams of becoming Korea’s Caltech, was published on Donga Daily on June 22.
