Jae-hong Kim, an M.S. student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) received an Excellent Thesis Award at ‘The Energy Environment Thesis Competition of the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers’.

The title of his thesis is, ‘The chemical investigation of effects of Sn addition to the carbon-supported Pt electrocatalysts on the electrooxidation of primary alcohols’.
