GIST attends a meeting of the Busan Honam Organizing Committee

□ GIST Vice President of Public Affairs Pill Hwan Park, Dean Yong-Chul Kim of International and Public Affairs, and College Dean Do-Kyeong Ko Park, Phillippean Vice-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Vice Chancellor Kim Yong-cheol visited the Busan on May 24, 2017, and attended a meeting of the Busan Honam Organizing Committee.

□ During the meeting, the GIST delegation exchanged opinions and ideas on the development of GIST and its future goals to the members of the Busan Honam Organizing Committee, and they also discussed ways to attract excellent students from Busan and Gyeongnam to enroll at GIST.

□ Chairman Jong-oh Ryu Jong-oh of the Busan Honam Organizing Committee said, "I will contribute to the development of Gwangju by publicizing GIST and its educational and research strengths and to the people living in Busan and the Gyeongnam region."

□ Busan Honam Organizing Committee is composed of businessmen from Gwangju and Jeonnam who are residing in Busan. They are doing various activities for the development of Gwangju and Jeonnam, such as purchasing special items or products from Gwangju and the Jeonnam region.
