Thank you for requesting trial access to Inspec Direct. As part of this trial you will be able to search the Inspec Archive which dates from 1898 to 1968. This can be purchased as an addition to the Inspec Direct Database.
The trial has now been set up and will run from 7th September until 4th October, 2009. The entry parameters are:

Since you have IP address access, you do not need a user name to start searching. However, if you have a user name on the IET website, it will allow you to use the Inspec Direct personalisation features and to share searches.. A user name can be set up on the IET website by clicking on the Register link beneath the login box on Inspec Direct.
You will find that the Inspec Direct platform has a modern and clear interface with a comprehensive suite of functions to enhance your searching requirements.
It is a superior searching tool which will make your findings more accessible, precise and current.
