Advanced Photonics Research Institute(APRI) at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) invites applications for regular research scientist positions (senior research scientists and principal research scientists). The APRI at the Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology (GIST) was founded in 2001 as a government-funded research institute specialized in the field of photonics and optical technology. With the aim of contributing both to the academic and industrial development in photonics and optics, the APRI has been providing excellent educational programs and a vibrant research and development (R & D) environment. We would like to invite you to join us on a journey into our great future.

1. Requirements
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in a pertinent field. Those who are planning to achieve a Ph.D. degree by the end of August 2009 are eligible to apply. Korean citizenship is NOT required for these positions. International or female scholars are encouraged to apply.
