Dept. of Information and Communications, Center for Hybrid Optical Access Network (CHOAN) and Center for Distributed Sensor Networks (CDSN):

Applications are invited for research professor &post-doc positions in ITRC-CHOAN and CDSN. The budget for the research professor is supported by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, Korea. The CHOAN (Information and Telecommunication Research Center supported by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy) and the CDSN (Research Center supported by the Ministry o f Education, Science, and Technology) have been carrying out joint research program on wireless and optical communications, wireless sensor networks, and human machine interface areas. Research professor and pos-doc will carry out their research in ITRC-CHOAN, CDSN, and other research centers in GIST.

The areas of interest include microwave photonics (device, circuit, and system), human machine interface, and wireless sensor networks. Other areas (all aspects including device, integrated circuits, network, and system) related to optical and wireless communications, human machine interface, and sensor networks are included as well.

Required Qualifications: Ph. D. degree is required.
Gross Annual Income: (depending upon their carrier and accomplishment)

-       Research professor : 36,000,000 Korean Won ~

-       Post-Doc : 24,000,000 Korean Won ~
