(Notification of August 2025 Commencement Ceremony)

 

안녕하십니까?

2025년 하반기 학위수여식 개최에 따라 다음과 같이 안내드립니다.

 

 

- 행사개요 -

 

1. 행사일시: 2025년 8월 14일(목) 16시

2. 행사장소: 광주과학기술원 오룡관 대강당

3. 참석대상: 학위수여대상자, 교직원, 학위수여자 가족 등 약 400여명

(학위수여대상자: 박사 72명, 석사 76명, 학사 53명, 총 201명)

 

- 학위복 대여 및 반납방법 -

 

1. 학위복 대여 및 반납

- 1차: 2025. 8. 13.(수) 10:00~17:00 (오룡관 206호)

- 2차: 2025. 8. 14.(목) 10:00~19:00 (오룡관 206호)

 

※ 대리수령 불가. 본인만 대여 가능. (학생팀 담당자 T. 062-715-3607)

※ 지정된 시간 이외에는 대여가 어려우니 시간을 엄수하여 주시기 바랍니다.

※ 학위복을 반납하지 않을 경우, 증명서 발급제한 등 불이익이 있을 수 있으니, 반드시 지정된 시간과 장소에 반납하여 주시기 바랍니다.

 

 

-학위수여 안내-

1. 학위수여대상자는 2025. 8. 14.(목) 15시 30분까지 1층 출입구로 입장(좌석 착석 시 참석 확인 예정)

※ 반드시 좌석표를 확인하시어 본인 좌석에 착석 바랍니다.

※ 참석여부 확인 후 지정좌석제를 진행하오니 참석 여부(구글 설문조사 이메일 발송 예정)를 사전에 반드시 회신하여 주시기 바랍니다. (7. 31.(목) 23:59까지)

 

2. 학위과정별 학위수여 순서

○ 박사→석사→학사 순

 

3. 학위수여 방법

○ 박사: 학위수여 순서대로 단상의 우측 아래에서 대기

→ 사회자가 호명하면, 단상의 우측 계단로 올라간 후 총장 앞 대기

→ 총장님께서 학위기를 수여하고 악수를 나눔

→ 좌측으로 이동하여 주요 보직자 및 교수와 악수를 나눔

→ 스태프의 안내에 따라 본인의 좌석으로 돌아가 착석

○ 석·학사: 학위수여 순서대로 단상의 우측 아래에서 대기(4명씩)

→ 사회자가 호명하면, 단상의 우측 계단으로 올라간 후 총장 앞 대기

→ 총장/교학부총장/연구부총장/대외부총장 님이 학위모 술을 이동하고(우측→좌측)악수를 나눔

→ 좌측으로 이동하여 주요 보직자 및 교수와 악수를 나눔

→ 스태프의 안내에 따라 본인의 좌석으로 돌아가 착석

4. 학위기 수령 방법

○ 박사는 학위수여식 당일수령(8.14.(목) 오룡관 대강당)

○ 석·학사는 학위수여식 사전수령(8.13.(수)부터 소속 학부(과) 사무실)

○ 불참자의 경우 학위수여식이 종료된 이후 소속 학부(과) 사무실에서 별도수령

○ 학위기의 내용이 틀린 경우 학생팀 담당자 문의 (T.062-715-3607)

 

5. 코로나19관련 방문자 유의사항

○ 호흡기 증상시 마스크 착용

 

6. 기타 안내사항

○ 학위수여식 SNS 생중계 예정

  (광주과학기술원 유튜브 공식채널: https://www.youtube.com/@GIST_YOUTUBE)

○ 학위수여대상자 외 참석자는 2층 출입구로 입장하여 주시기 바랍니다.

○ 모든 행사가 끝나기 전까지 학위수여대상자는 퇴장이 불가합니다.

○ 안전을 위하여 단상 근처에서의 사진 촬영을 금지합니다.

○ 졸업증명서 발급: 2025. 8. 14.(목)부터 가능

Dear degree candidates,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

To prepare for a successful event, we would like to inform you as follows.

 

 

1. Date and Time: 14:00 ~ 15:30  Aug. 14(Thu.), 2025

2. Location: Oryong-Hall

3. Attendee: Degree candidates(1st floor) and family members(2nd floor), faculty members

※ Degree candidates: Ph.D. 72, MS 77, BS 53

 

1. 1st rental and return: Aug. 13(Wed) 10:00-17:00

2. 2nd rental and return: Aug. 14(Thu) 10:00-19:00

3. Location: #206 Oryong Hall

※ Degree candidates only are eligible to rent Please make sure to meet the deadline.

 

 

<Awarding Degrees: Ph.D. →MS →BS>

1. How to award degrees

- Ph.D.: Wait your turn at the right-hand side of the front stage in order.

→ When your name is called, walk from the right side to the front of the stage and wait in front of the President.

→ When your Degree Certificate is awarded, shake hands with the President.

→ Move to the left and shake hands with some professors.

→ Return to your seat as guided by a staff member.

- MS and BS: Wait your turn at the right-hand side of the front stage in order.

→ When your name is called, walk from the right side to the front of the stage and wait in front of the President.

→ When the Presient/Vice President for Academic Affairs/Vice President for R&D/Vice President for Public Affairs move your cap tassel(from right to left), shake hands with them.

→ Move to the left and shake hands with some professors.

→ Return to your seat as guided by a staff member.

2. How to receive Diplomas

- Ph.D.: Awarded on the day of commencement ceremony(Aug. 14.)

- MS & BS: From the Dept. Office (Aug. 13.)

- If you can not attend the Ceremony, you may pick it up at the Dept. Office after Aug. 14

- Commencement ceremony online streaming -

- Degree Certificates can be issued from the machine after noon on Aug. 14.
