2014-1 특별교양강좌 안내 (2014-1 Special Lecture Series Information)

안녕하세요, 교학팀 특별교양강좌 담당자입니다.
2014학년도 1학기 특별교양강좌를 다음과 같이 안내합니다.
자세한 강좌는 첨부된 파일을 확인하여 주시기 바랍니다.
내국인의 경우 7강 중, 5강 이상 수강하여야 이수조건이 충족됩니다.
(외국인의 경우 영어로 진행되는 2강과 4강만 이수해야 함)
첫 강의는 3월 11일(화)에 시작하며 오룡관 303호에서 4시에 시작합니다.
출결은 학생증을 이용한 전자출결 시스템으로 관리할 예정이며
신입생은 학생증이 발급되지 않아 3월 한달동안만 종이 출석표로 대체할 예정이며
학생증이 발급된 이후부터는 반드시 학생증을 지참하여 출석체크를 하시기 바랍니다.
종이 출석표는 강의시작 10분 후까지만 배포하며
퇴실시에만 받으며, 강의시작 후 10분 후에는 배포하지 않습니다. (지각으로 간주)
박사과정 학생은 졸업전까지 특별교양강좌Ⅰ만 수강하면 되며,(석사는 Ⅰ, Ⅱ 모두 수강)
내부진학자로 석사과정에서 특별교양강좌 Ⅰ, Ⅱ를 수강하였다면 면제됩니다.

Special Lecture Series in this semester will be started March. 11th (Tue.).
Place is Oryong Hall #303.
But since international students must attend only lectures held in English,
do not forget to attend English lecture. English lecture will be given twice this semester.
(If you want to attend Korean lecture, it isn"t acceptable.)
There are 2 English lectures in 2014 Spring semester and
even if you miss one class, it is impossible to pass this class.
One is "My name is Yiombi, Living as Refugee in Korea"(March. 25th) and
the other one is "Can we conquer cancer?(April 29th).

※Special Cultural Course
To receive a degree from GIST, all students must complete Special Cultural Lecture.
M.S students must complete both "Special Cultural Lecture I" and "Special Cultural Lecture II",
and Ph.D students must complete "Special Cultural Lecture I" offered by the institute and
receive a grade of "Satisfactory".
The course is opened every semester. You may take the course any time before graduation.
Lectures for the Cultural Courses will be given twice a month 16:00–17:20.
Schedule for Spring 2014 will be announced on the English bulletin board during the semester.
Ph.D. students who have already taken both Lecture I and Lecture II during their M.S. degree at GIST
do not need to take both courses again.
