BK21 첨단재료고등교육사업단이 주관,  유-무기 광 소재 및 광소자 연구 분야에서 세계적으로 연구를 선도하는 교수님들이 초청이 되어서 최근의 연구결과 발표와 토론 및 사업화에 관한 의견을 나누는 장이 될 광주과기원과 캘리포니아대 산타바바라캠퍼스간 (GIST/UCSB) 워크숍’을 아래와 같이 개최하오니 많은참석 바랍니다.

Optoelectronic materials have been greatly advanced in recent years. Both the department of materials science at UCSB, and the department of materials science and engineering at GIST pursue the frontier research in inorganic and organic optoelectronic materials such as GaN, ZnO, and organic materials for LEDs. This joint workshop is organized to promote international collaborations between the faculties and students in both institutes. At this symposium, we hope to bring the researchers in the both institutes together and discuss the current advances in optoelectronic materials research to yield fruitful collaborations.
