GIST"s first cultural event of 2016 will feature K-TIGERS
The Korean taekwondo martial arts team will perform
on Thursday (March 24, 2016) at 7:30 pm in Oryong Hall
The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) under the leadership of President Seung Hyeon Moon will feature K-TIGERS as the first cultural event of the year at 7:30 pm on March 24, 2016, in Oyrong Hall.
K-TIGERS is a Korean martial arts team that displays their amazing acrobatic taekwondo skills through a lively choreography of music and dance that includes a wide assortment of genres, including jazz and K-pop. They have performed over 2,000 times, and their performances literally have to be seen to be believed!
Also joining the culture event performance is the Korean group "Yegureena" who performance includes traditional Korean music and storytelling.
Tickets for the culture event will be 1,000 won, and all proceeds will benefit the GIST Development Fund. Tickets can be purchases online at www.onoffmix.com or at Oryong Hall starting at 6:20 pm on March 24, 2016. Come have a great time and help support GIST at the same time!
