Gwangju ACE Fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the City of Gwangju and organized by the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Korea Creative Content Agency.
KCTI will feature a realistic 3D projection mapping of Onggwan and Seungilgyo of Mahan era, a virtual Head Mounted Display (HMD) experience of Chungjangro and Yanglimdong in downtown Gwangju, and a multi-display video of Gwangju and the Youngsan River that was captured by a flying drone.
This exhibition is to provide opportunities for the general public to experience the successful exhibition held during the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade with a theme called "K-CT Culture Meets Technology," which received rave reviews.
KCTI director Kwang Hee Ko said, “The Gwangju ACE Fair is the largest cultural content marketplace in the nation. Through this exhibition, we will establish cooperative networks and present our KCTI vision that advocates creative use of culture techniques.”
