Haegeon receives the "Best Tenants Award"
from the Center for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship

GIST President Seunghyun Moon attended the ceremony for the ‘Best Tenants Award’ at the Center for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship on May 13, 2015.
Haegeon joined the Center for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship (CPE) in 2011 and develops healthcare information software, mobile software, embedded hardware and software, medical devices, and security systems. Annual sales in 2014 was 2.24 billion (KRW), and they have grown to hire 20 employees.
Haegeon received various government funds for their projects: 660 million KRW from Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, 1.5 billion KRW from Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, 200 million KRW from Regional Development Project, and 2.5 billion KRW from the Broadcasting and Communications R&D.
The “Best Tenants Award” was first introduced in 2014 and is given to companies based on excellent sales, superior performance, increased employment, enterprise certification registration, receiving government funds and also for participating at the CPE’s events. Awards are as follows: First Prize (1 company/1 million KRW), Second Prize (2 companies/500,000 KRW each), and an Encouragement Prize (20 companies/300,000 KRW each).
GIST"s Center for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship has been providing opportunities for new ideas, mentoring support, access to foreign markets, and investment programs.
