Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST· President, Kim Young-Joon) signed a business agreement with the Science High Schools for selecting excellent outstanding freshmen.

GIST held a convention meeting about managing curriculum about approval credit for Advanced Placement (AP), running Research & Education Program and teacher training program with Gyeonggi Science High School (Prin. Young-Ho Jeon) at the GIST main administration building on November 12^th.

And GIST held a signing ceremony guarantees supporting AP lecture, approving credit, managing domestic, global exchange program and helps using library with KSA (Prin. Jang-Hyuk, Kwun) affiliated with a KAIST at the same day afternoon.

By this, if a student, who graduated Gyeonggi Science High School or KSA and completed the AP lecture, enters GIST, he/she can get certain completed credit as University credit. Students may have helps for preparing their future or early graduation because they can study University level lecture in advance and approve it as a credit when they enter the university.
