GIST President Moon Seunghyeon appeared as a special guest on a popular morning television show on KBC (Kwangju Broadcasting Co.) on April 22.

In his 10-minute live interview, President Moon stressed the importance of science-technology R&D for the sake of the people and the region. He explained about GIST’s plans for broad cooperation with Korea Electric Power Corporation, which recently moved its headquarters to nearby Bitgaram Innovation City in Naju, and Hyundai Motor Company, which operates the Gwangju Creative Economy Innovation Center that opened on the GIST campus earlier this year.
