The class opening ceremony for the fifth year of GIST Tsinghua SEM Techno CEO Program was held on March 17 in Oryong Hall.

The joint program between GIST and Tsinghua University"s School of Economics and Management in Beijing, China, is intended to provide participants with valuable opportunities to learn about new trends in technology and management and build a rich personal network.

Since 2011, a total of 137 leaders in the region have completed the joint program. The 5th class this year has 54 registered participants, including former National Assembly member Lee Yongsup.

In his congratulatory speech, President Moon Seunghyeon of GIST said, “We will do our best to operate the program in such a way that our knowledge in technological trends can be translated into effective management in diverse areas of society.”
