Insong GE Inc. named as the best company in GIST Business Incubator

- through operation of environmental pollution prevention facilities and animal dung utilization system…sales increased by 139% over 3 years

 

 

 

Insong GE Inc. (CEO Jeong Byoung-ho) which designs and operates environmental pollution prevention facilities and systems to turn livestock dung into resources was named as the best company in the GIST Business Incubator (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, President ž Young Joon Kim).

 

Insong GE Inc. which moved into the GIST Business Incubator in 2011 has been engaged in the development of technologies related to water purification and high-level treatment, utilization of animal dung, odor prevention and the reuse of swine dung, thus making contributions to recycling agriculture. Over the past three years, its sales revenue has increased by 139%.

 

In addition, Genotech Inc. (CEO Cha Byoung-rae) which has developed a NFC-based electronic micropayment system and a VoIP system for voice call security, and Vision Meccatech Inc. (CEO Choi Young-min) which has developed a removable powered system for hospital beds were named as outstanding companies.

 

Every year, the GIST Business Incubator confers awards and prizes in the name of the President of GIST to companies in the Center which made excellent business performances in the previous year. This year, the award ceremony was held in the Business Incubator on April 30^th.

 

The GIST Business Incubator has strived to facilitate the growth of companies housed in the Center through a variety of support measures, including the overseas benchmarking program to Japan and China which is aimed to provide the companies with opportunities to exploit overseas markets and conceive ideas for new product development. More recently, the Center started the Networking Lunch Program whereby it invites officials of Small and Medium Business Corporation, Gwangju Design Center, Gwangju Intellectual Property Center, etc. during lunch time for 2~3 times a month to hear from them about systems supporting small and medium-sized companies. This program has received rave reviews from the companies.
