GIST Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KFS about academic affairs, exchange and collaboration. – President Young Joon Kim at GIST and Founder & Head of KFS Robert Holley participated in the MoU. Under the MoU, more exchange and cooperation will be made including using each other’s school facilities.
In the afternoon of December 16th, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President ž Young Joon Kim) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about academic affairs, exchange and collaboration with Gwangju Foreign School (KFS, Principal Mark Stock) at the 4th floor of GIST’s Administration Building. Robert Holley, a TV personality in South Korea, is Founder & Head of KFS.
Under this MoU, GIST and KFS will have more active exchange and collaboration programs. GIST allows KFS members to use GIST’s facilities including a swimming pool and a gym and KFS can invite GIST’s professors to give lectures, allow high school students at KFS to hear GIST’s lectures (and they can earn credits), and can cut tuition fees.
